The Geneva Motor Show has suffered greatly from the Covid-19 pandemic. Canceled several times, the GIMS is now moving to Qatar to continue to exist. In 2023, the international auto show is organized in this Middle Eastern emirate, which simultaneously hosts the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Qatar.

Supercars and other exceptional cars
Running from Thursday 5 October to Saturday 14 October 2023, this new edition of the Geneva Motor Show should host exclusive new product reveals, but also allow its public to test the cars on the Lusail international circuit. An exhibit is also expected to highlight the collection of supercars and other racing cars owned by the Qatar Auto Museum.
A temporary transfer for GIMS
The list of manufacturers present at the 2023 Geneva Motor Show is still unknown at the time of writing these lines. According to our Auto-Moto colleagues, this transfer of the Geneva Motor Show to Qatar is not destined to last over time. Sandro Mesquita has thus ensured that the show will return to Geneva, Switzerland, for the 2024 edition.
